International Air Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd.
History
Fujii Air Service Co., Ltd. was founded in 1963 at Haneda Airport by Hajime Fujii after his retirement from the Ministry of Finance; the corporation became International Air Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd. (IACT) in 1964. IACT was chosen as the sole import cargo common warehouse in 1965 by the Airlines Operators Committee. In 1978, following the opening of Narita International Airport, the corporation transferred its location to Narita. Today, as an import and export cargo handling and sorting corporation, more than 500 employees and contractors are working at both an internal and external warehouse at Narita Airport. Our first self-owned warehouse, IACT Narita Butsuryu Center, was established in March 2008.
